Speech : save energy save earth OR article : save energy save earth

Friends..have all of you realized? That our earth had been different.the suns felt so burned whenever we go home.the clean water such as expensive things to get.even tobreathe we must fight against the toxic in the air.
That’s all the impact of global warming. There is a hole on ozone layer that causes the sun felt so burned. The drynessof clean water source that causes the clean water is hard to find. Even if for breathing it’s very difficult. It because the oxygen had been mixed by thecarbon dioxide and the other dangerous chemical matter.
So, what we can do to surpass it all? what the real action that we have done for save our earth?
Every night I turn off 4 lamps, with hope the next generation will be lighter 4 times.
I like to use a piece of cotton better than I must use sheets of tissues, and in the future I wish I could save one tree in the forest.
I prefer the parachute jacket tofur coat , and I wish I would not kill even one polar bear in the north pole.
And I like to use a fan in my house better than I must turn on an air conditioner, and I wish I would not participate increating the global warming
Please consider it if I am not the only person to do that but also all of you.
Turning off one lamp it means saving 100 worth of electric energy for the future.
Saving one tree it means saving 1 life in the next future.
One life of a polar bear it means giving the chance for our children and grand children to know them in real and not just in the storybook.
Not using air conditioner it means we don’t make a hole on ozone layer.
Are you able to do the same thing as I am??
I am only a student, but I will make a change. Change for thefuture. I just couldn’t be silent seeing the world into the darkness without electric energy. I just couldn’t be silent seeing all the trees that should be the life support turn into sheets of papers and tissues which finally just be a useless rubbish, tree could be more useful than only just a paper and tissue. Tree could be a filtering machine for the air, tree could absorb the water in a big scale. So that no more torrent or air pollution. I just couldn’t be silent seeing a polar bear killed by an irresponsible people just for stealing their feather and by the women in the boutique just to have some fur to be looked fashionable. Why we must sacrifice 1 soul just to look beautiful?
And have all of you realized that the air conditioner which make you comfort inside the room will not make you comfort outside the room? it causes by the CFC matter whichproduced by the air conditioner that could make a hole on ozone layer.
Illegal logging will not happen if there is no high demand of consumption of tissue or paper.
by not using animal feather as the main material product in cloth production its mean we have saved their life from the extinct.
Turn off the television or one lamp when we are not watching it during one hour have helped us saving the energy for the future.
Stop using products which implied the CFC matter it meansprotect us from the danger of over radiation of the sun that through away the ozone layer.
Moreover we can save our earth by doing 3R (reduce-reuse-recycle), using electric energy necessarily, choose electronic appliances which support go green effort. One little step can bring the biggestchange for us. Think if we do those action, what will happen?
We can and we are able to do all of it. It just most of us who ignore it even careless of earthsituation. Partly of them consider that earth is in good condition right now. Unless they realize whenever earth really in the worst situation. Just use them well. You can do what u can’t do!
That's all from me, thanks for your attention.

Not a Graduate? Can`t Apply for Bank Clerk Jobs Anymore!!

Applying for clerk jobs in banks is set to become a distant dream for those with only XII th (HSC) marks. The government of India had notified all banks to revise the entry qualifications for clerical cadre employees & it could be the reason for some banks to fix graduation as the minimum eligibility in the ongoing clerk recruitments through the common exam platform.
The news report recently published in the businessline gains importance at a time when banks have just started to release notifications to fill clerk vacancies across theirbranches.
Government`s Order
A committee headed by Dr Anil K Khandelwal (former chairman of Bank of Baroda) formed to look into the HR issues in public sector banks submitted its findings in 2010.
Of the 105 recommendations suggested by them, the government accepted 56 in the month of October 2011 which were then circulated to the heads of public banks.
One of the key proposal which has been approved was,
*. Minimum educational qualification for clerical recruitment to be graduation
Common exam held for non-graduates
Similar to common written exam (CWE) for POs, the same was introduced for clerical level also. The registrations began in August 2011 & test was conducted in the month of November 2011.
As per the advertisement released by IBPS then, educational qualifications were,
Pass with 60% marks in Matric/SSC/SSLC/10thstd. OR Pass with 50% marks in HSC/12th std.OR Pass in any degree
The results announced in March 2012 saw 5.3 lakh candidates clear the test who have been issued scorecards.
Degree – a necessity from next year
Chairman of IBPS Mr.M.Balachandran had said to Businessline that this order about change in eligibility was issued after the exams were conducted & graduation shall be the minimum qualification to register for IBPS clerk CWE from next exam onwards .
What about current recruitments?
By this development, a person who has scored high marks in the CWE but does not posses any degree cannot apply for banks which asks for graduation.
Of the 5 banks which recently announced clerical vacancies – only Andhra bank has prescribed degree .
This should make qualified candidates breathe easy atleast for this year hoping most other banks also continue with the older format before implementing the new rule from next project.

A R Rahman (Allah Rakha Rahman)

Allah Rakha Rahman was born on 6 January 1966 as A. S. Dileep Kumar in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, is an Indian film composer, record producer, musician and singer. His film scoring career began in the early 1990s.He has won fourteen Filmfare Awards, eleven Filmfare Awards South, four National Film Awards, two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe.
A. R. Rahman was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to a musically affluent Mudaliar Tamil family. His father R. K. Shekhar, was a Chennai based composer and conductor for Malayalam films. Rahman lost his father at the age of 9 and his family rented out his father’s musical equipment as a source of income. He was raised by his mother Kareema (previously called Kashturi). During these formative years, Rahman served as a keyboard player and an arranger in bands such as “Roots”, with childhood friend and percussionist Sivamani, John Anthony, Suresh Peters, JoJo and Raja.
Rahman is the founder of the Chennai-basedrock group, “Nemesis Avenue”. He played thekeyboard and piano, the synthesizer, the harmonium and the guitar. His curiosity in the synthesizer, in particular increased because, he says, it was the “ideal combination of music and technology”. He began early training in music under Master Dhanraj. At the age of 11, he joined, as a keyboardist, the troupe of Ilaiyaraaja, one of many composers to whom musical instruments belonging to Rahman’s father were rented. Rahman later played in the orchestra of M. S. Viswanathan, Ramesh Naidu and Raj-Koti, accompanied Zakir Hussain, Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan and L. Shankar on world tours and obtained a scholarship to the Trinity College of Music where he graduated with a degree in Western classical music.
He was introduced to Qadiri Islam when his father was dying and his younger sister fell severely sick. He describes the process as taking five years; he along with other members of his family converted to Islam in 1989 when he was 23 years old. He changedhis name to Rahman.
Rahman obtained a degree in western classical music from the Trinity College of Music in London, and set up his own in-house studio called Panchathan Record Inn at Chennai, arguably one of Asia’s most sophisticated and high-tech studios. Later byworking in India’s various film industries, international cinema and theatre, by 2004, Rahman, in a career spanning nearly two decades, had sold more than 150 million records of his film scores and soundtracks worldwide, and sold over 200 million cassettes, making him one of the world’s all-time top selling recording artists. He was described as “India’s most prominent movie songwriter” by Time magazine in 2005.
His works are notable for integrating eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, world music genres, new technology and traditional orchestral arrangements. Time magazine has referred to him as the “Mozart of Madras” and severalTamil commentators have coined him the nickname Isai Puyal. In 2009, Time magazineplaced Rahman in its list of World’s Most Influential People.
Though his film career started in 1992, Rahman at the age of 9, in 1975, had accidentally played a tune on piano during his father’s recording for a film, which R.K.Shekhar later developed into a complete song “Vellithen Kinnam Pol”, for the Malayalam film “Penpada”. This track credited to his father, was sung by Jayachandran and penned by Bharanikkavu Sivakumar.
He is married to Saira Banu and has three children, Khatija, Rahima, and Ameen. Rahman made his son Ameen sing the track “NaNa” from Couples Retreat and his daughter Khatija the track “Pudhiya Manidha” from Enthiran. Rahman is the uncle of composer G. V. Prakash Kumar, who is the son of Rahman’s elder sister, A. R. Reihana. She debuted in film singing on the track “Vidai Kodu Engal Naadae” from Kannathil Muthamittal. He is the brother-in-law of Malayalam film actor Rahman.
He had become an atheist as a result of childhood struggles, and eventually in 1989 converted to Islam, the religion of his mother’s family. In an interview with Time magazine, he said that he embraced Islam through Sufism. He is very devoted to his mother. During the 81st Academy Awards ceremony, he paid her a tribute saying: “There is a Hindi dialogue ‘mere pass ma hai’which means even if I have got nothing I have my mother here.”
Despite being a former atheist, Rahman began his own catchphrase, “Ella pughazhum iraivanukke”, a sentence in Tamil which literally means “All praises dedicated to God”. The phrase was further popularized after Rahman uttered it during his speech at the 81st Academy Awards ceremony.

The present age is the age of newspapers. Newspapers are seen in the courts and offices,in the schools and collages, inthe stalls and restaurants andin the marts and markets.
Newspapers are read by the rich and the poor, learned and literate, high and low, master and slave. Because newspapers is very important. It deals with all interests.
Kinds of newspapers:
There are many kinds of newspapers, such as the daily, the weekly, the biweekly and the fortnightly. The daily newspapers are full of news. But the other newspapers are full of views and comments on the different news items. Some newspapers come out twice and thrice a day. Because the habit of reading the fresh news is getting more and more with the people.
Organization:
The newspaper has got a big staff like the editor, the sub-editors, the new reporters and the news agents. The small papers manage with one editor. The newspapers are printed in the printing press. The newspapers get news from the big news agencies like Reuter, Samachar, Tass and I.N.F.A. They get the news with the help of the teleprinters.

Article : Generation Gap

Generation gap means difference in attitude, or lack of understanding between younger and older generation. This generation gap has always been there but these days it has reached to an explosive stage. The values and patterns of life have changed to a great extent. Today, everybody likesto live and behave in his ownway. This attitude has widened the generation gap, which can never be filled. It isnow destroying family life completely. The elders look after the children and make all sorts of sacrifices to bring them up. Naturally, they feel they have a right over them. They want their children to follow their instructions as they have certain expectations from them. But the children, when they growup, want a complete freedomin their thoughts and actions and unfortunately their thoughts and actions are just opposite to those expected bythe elders. They revolt when any kind of restrictions are imposed on them. Consequently, the family breaks up and everything gets ruined.
In India, we are yet in the initial stages, but the gap has appeared and it is going to grow bigger day by day. So it is not only the responsibility of the younger but also of theelders to fill this gap with their love, affection and trust. The problem, in fact, has grown and intensified due to the rise in complexities of life. These complexities have arisen in the wake of modernism where everythingallied to tradition, custom and the world was to be turned upside down. The problem arises mainly when parents forget how did they behave, what problems did they encounter and what feeling did they feel when they were children, especiallyteenagers. When the children enter the stormy teens the problem of generation gap comes out with greater intensity then ever. Children too fail to see their parents’ point of view and blindly stick to breaking rules. For them, at this age, their friends suddenly become important dislodging the parents from the vantage point. This causes great anxiety to parents and the friction increases between the children and the parents.
At this time, grandparents can play a constructive role inorder to bridge the gap of thought, attitude, and way of life and approaches to it. Generation gap is not that serious a problem if families can learn to sit over dinner and talk or sit in the living rooms over a cup of hot comforting coffee and talk the things out, ironing the difference and sharing the experiences. When this communication barrier is transcended and the ice broken, the problem does notremain that serious anymore.Talking it out calmly and coolly, with the idea of sorting things out, changing for each other and changing for better can be the most helpful instrument in bridging the generation gap. Family outings, vacations, tours, to picnic-outings, oftenwith the family etc can be effective ways to initiate intimacy between parents and children. Watching movieand discussing them, putting forth the different viewpoints can be a beginning to inculcate the habit of a healthy dialogue between members of the family. Such small things and steps can do wonders in initiating a healthy family atmosphere and reducing friction between two generations that are right in their own respects. Their onlyfault is that they are viewing the same object from opposite directions. Age, timeand experience or the lack of it, forces them to do so.

Bhagat Singh

There were so many leading lights in India’s freedom struggle. India’s fight for independence was a united cause in which thousands of people participated and sacrificed their lives. Indian history is rich with such heroes who made incomparable contributions to the country’s freedom. Some of them are still remembered by us even after60 plus years of achieving freedom. One suchlegendary fighter was Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He is credited to shape the grand nationalist movement of the country. He was a prominent revolutionary whose role in the freedom struggle of India cannot be measured with words. Born on September 27, 1907 at Banga in Lyallpur district to Kishan Singh and Vidya Vati, Bhagat Singh had patriotism in his blood. His father and uncle, both were great Indian freedom fighters who also served terms in prison for their active participation.
During his school days, Bhagat Singh had actively followed the Non-Cooperation Movement called by Mahatma Gandhi. He was ardent follower of Gandhi Ji’s philosophy untilBapu withdrew the movement in protest to Chauri Chaura incidents. Bhagat Singh was not convinced with this decision and aligned himself with Young Revolutionary Movement. Bhagat Singh flatly refused to marry to the girl of his family choice citing his passion for India’s freedom struggle. He joined various radical and revolutionary groups like Hindustan Republican Association, Kirti Kisan Party and Naujawan Bharat Sabha.
To avenge the death of leading freedom fighter Lala lajpat rai, he planned assassination of Scott, the Superintendent of Police who had ordered lathi charge that led to Lala Ji’s death. He mistook J.P.Saunders as Scott and killed him instead. He fled to Lahore and to hide his identity, he shaved his beard and cut his hair, against the tenets of Sikhism. After the formulation of Defence of India Act, he and his party members conspired to explode bombs inside the assembly premises. He along with Batukeshwar Dutt threw a bomb in the corridors of the assembly and shouted ‘Inquilab Zindabad’.
Bhagat Singh along with Rajguru and Sukhdev was charged with the murder. Singhwas asked to tender apology but he refused and made strong statements against the British rule. Bhagat Singh was finally sentenced to death and was hanged in Lahore on March 23, 1931. He was regarded as a Shaheed (Martyr) by his supporters and followers. Indian film industry has made several wonderful films based on the eventfullife of Bhagat Singh.
